Invited by school of management, Professor Kevin Voges from Canterbury University visits the SoM from May 7th to May 8th. Professor Kevin Voges is the associate dean of school of business and economics, Canterbury University, and he is mainly responsible for international cooperation. The associate dean of school of management, HIT, Professor Xue Xiaolong, and the vice director of department of applied economics Ma Tao have a discussion meeting with Professor Kevin Voges. The two sides introduce the information of students training and interchange situation. Professor Kevin Voges underlines the characteristic teaching method in cultivating foreign students. He hopes to expand cooperation in more majors and let more and more students participate in the united training.
In the afternoon of May 8th, Professor Kevin Voges makes a lecture titled “An Overview of Experimental Design”, which benefites the teachers and students a lot.
School of Management, HIT, and Canterbury University have signed cooperation agreement in 2012 mainly for the undergraduate students major in international trade and major in finance.
