From September 20 to 21 2012, International conference on management science and engineering was held in the University of Texas at Dallas in the United States, Professor Yu Bo, the dean of SoM, Harbin industrial University, and other 10 teachers attended the meeting. About 89 representatives from Texas A&M University, Robert Morris University, Texas Tech University, Arizona State University, University of Texas at Austin in the United States, Huazhong University of science and technology, Tianjin University, Xiamen University, Hunan University, Northwest University, Beijing University of aeronautics and astronautics, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Harbin Engineering University attended the meeting.
At the opening ceremony, professor Yu Bo, the dean of SOM, HIT, vice dean of the University of Texas at Dallas in the United States made the welcoming speech, Dr Tuna Tarim, chairman of IEEE technical management committee made a speech. Professor Suresh Sethi, the international famous scholar from the University of Texas at Dallas, and Professor Andrew Whinston from the University of Texas at Austin gave a splendid conference report. Professors Metin Cakanyildirim from the University of Texas at Dallas, Jim Hogan the senior director of Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Company, Sanjay Mehta the senior director of PepsiCo and technical director Prasad Gavankar of Frito – Lay had a discussion on the latest Industry issues. The meeting invited the high level authors for academic report on business intelligence, the innovation and business value based on IT, innovation quantitative investment fields, the scholars on the site could make comments, and caused a heated discussion. In addition, the scholars in the evaluation and prediction, computational intelligence in commerce application, knowledge management, international trade and investment, mathematics model and operation management, organizational strategy and knowledge management, e-commerce and commercial development, corporate finance and financial management and the new energy, etc, nine projects gave the academic report and had a depth communication.
All the representatives also attended to Texas Instruments, Texas Instruments is a leading global design and manufacturing company of analog and digital semiconductor IC, it design and manufacture of analog and digital embedded processing and application of the terminal equipment in spite of providing simulation technology, semiconductor of DSP and MCU, what is more the representatives and Texas Instruments staff had a heated discussion and communication.
