In the first half of May 2012, a HIT delegation of deans and directors led by President Shuguo Wang visited a few universities in the USA and Canada. The delegation paid special attention to business schools.
The delegation consists of President Wang, Director of the Department of International Collaborations Hongbo Fan, the Dean of the School of Physical Sciences Linzhi Wu, the Dean of the School of Life Science Yu Li, the Associate Dean of the School of Management Qiang Ye, and the Regional Manager of the Department of International Collaborations Zhen Cai.
When visiting UCSD and UT Dallas, President Wang had friendly talks with the Dean of UCSD’s Rady School of Management Robert Sullivan and the Dean of UT Dallas’ Naveen Jindal School of Management Hasan Pirkul. President Wang also gave speeches at these two universities.
During the visit, Associate Dean Qiang Ye signed on behalf of HIT SoM an agreement on EMBA program collaboration and overall inter-school collaboration framework. President Wang signed an inter-university collaboration agreement between the two institutions.
