(Text by LIU Jia; Photo by ZHAN Pengyu)On April 15, 2012, the HIT ERP Club successfully hosted the “HIT Cup” ERP Sand Table Simulation Invitation Competition for Universities in Harbin. About 180 contestants in 32 teams from 14 universities including Harbin Commerce University, Northeastern Agricultural University, and Qiqihar University participated in this competition.
At 8:00am, contestants from all the participating universities came to Room 101 in the HIT Activities Center. At 8:30, when everything was ready, the opening ceremony started. Mr. CAO Wentao, the Deputy Director of the HIT School of Management Youth League, came to the ceremony and made the opening remarks. The competition ensued. The competition is composed of two parallel sessions: Session A uses the entrepreneur system, and Session B uses the trade war system. The competition went smoothly, orderly, and closely. Each team was in full swing in planning, discussing, and the order competition, the last stage of which was the fiercest. The meticulous attitude of the judges made the competition even more precise. After running for a day through six simulated fiscal years, several strong teams stood out, among which the HIT team won the third prize. At the closing ceremony, CAO Wentao awarded the certificates of honor to the winning teams.
This competition assembled excellent teams from Universities in Harbin and other cities in Heilongjiang Province, aiming to build a platform for all the universities to better learn ERP and to prepare for the imminent provincial competition. We wish each university superb performance in the provincial competition to be held later this year.
