On the afternoon of April 7th, 2012, Harbin Business Forum once again came to the School of Management of HIT. The forum featured WANG Jun, the CEO of Harbin Sanwu Flavoring Group. Mr. WANG brought a wonderful report on the importance of knowledge and study.
The title of the report is “Knowledge changed fate, and study makes future”. The report included three parts. Mr. Wang started by telling students how he had suffered hunger, experienced the Big Leap Forward, gone to remote areas to support the rural area development and witnessed the reform and opening up in China. He hoped that the student s would know the painful past in order to treasure the opportunities and happiness they have today. After that, Mr. WANG described his hardship at the beginning of his career and how he seized the opportunities without fear for the difficulties. Finally, he revealed his identity of being a military soldier, and felt honor to be a soldier. From his life journey, he wanted students to know that it’s important to be brave and to take up responsibilities.
At the end of the report, Mr. WANG presented books as gifts to the students. The students read eagerly and even queued up for him to autograph the book. The report was carried out in a heated atmosphere, with great interaction between the speaker and the students. Students said they learned things from the report, which not only gave them new ideas about life and also rendered them to know that responsibility was important for their future.
