On the afternoon of December 15, 2011, the opening ceremony of Grade 2011, Class 4 of EMBA in HIT was ceremoniously held in the room 304, International Conference Center, Science Park, HIT. The people who attend the opening ceremony were deputy president of HIT Professor Sun Heyi, vice dean of the graduate school of HIT Professor Gao Dong, the dean of the School of management of HIT Professor Yu Bo, secretary of the party committee of the School of management of HIT Professor Ju Xiaofeng, the director of EMBA education center Professor Zhu Bin. The opening ceremony was presided by the secretary Ju Xiaofeng. Dean of the School of management Professor Yu Bo introduced development process of EMBA education of School of management in HIT, and hoped that the students could play practice ability, dedicate management experience, make full use of communication, collaboration platforms built for students, learn from each other, and communicate with each other, promote each other, thus make beneficial contributions to enterprise and to the society. Vice dean of the graduate school of HIT Professor Gao Dong introduced graduate education achievements and talents cultivated for various professions, encouraged people to cherish the opportunity and study hard, eventually made outstanding achievements using knowledge in business, becoming the pride of the Alma mater. Vice general manager of China railway material Harbin Co., LTD Wang Guiping, spoke as new students representatives. She thanked the school for building knowledge platform and felt proud to become a member of the prestigious history university, believing that through study the systematic theory knowledge and the idea of management, she will get distillation on her own management level. At last, She wishes all students learn something and return from a rewarding journey, then contribute all the wisdom and power to Long Jiang's takeoff and motherland's development. Deputy president Professor Sun Heyi welcomed new students' admission on behalf of HIT. Combining with his own experience, he told the story of the glorious course of HIT, introduced in detail the levels of teachers and the characteristics of running the school. He encouraged students to read books, line miles, and set up the idea of lifelong learning, and proposed requirements from three aspects, including the study of the theory, the work practice and social responsibility.
He hops most students strictly uphold the motto, study hard, enlarge vision, enrich enterprise management knowledge, improve leadership, broaden the interpersonal and business network, play an increasingly important role in economic construction and social development. After the opening ceremony, the students began three days of the first course "innovation and change management". The Grade 2011 Class 4 in the ceremony is the 21st EMBA class of the School of management in HIT. Since August 2002 when HIT became first one of the schools held EMBA education project, with first-class faculty, the first-class management, first-class service, first-class hardware, first-class student, is shaping HIT EMBA brand which has great influence at domestic. By now nearly 1000 senior managers from enterprises and the governments have entered HIT to study EMBA, with over 500 students have got a master's degree in EMBA.
