Overseas study tour is an important part of HIT EMBA teaching. On September 26, 2011, teachers and students of HIT EMBA Grade 2010 were going on USA study tour with deep joy. In Los Angeles, scholars from Santa Maria College taught students on the US domestic market, described the characteristics in detail, opening up the international perspective of students. At University of Hawaii, students made a number of studies including the American polity development process, the world economic situation and the US's influence on the world economy, had deep exchanges and lively discussions with Professor Tong Bui and many other scholars, and then experienced a lunch of the American college as well as enjoyed the campus scenery. Apart from the study, the students also visited Pearl Harbor and Hawaii government buildings, and took a glimpse of the customs and industry of Washington, New York, Buffalo, San Francisco and Las Vegas as well. They visited the White House,Capitol, Wall Street, the nerve center of the international finance, and the United Nations Headquarters, together with other world renowned landmark buildings.
The trip of 17 days to the USA had the students exposed to the concept of international management. They all had learned a lot, as they said, and got a new perspective to deal with the various problems encountered in the operation and management, and sincerely thank HIT for providing the meaningful opportunity to study abroad.
Although the trip to the US was some kind hard, they forget the hardness and only sweet memory was left when they thought of the enormous gains in the US. They will all benefit from it for a lifetime.
