At 17:30，Jul. 11th, sponsored by MBA Center in the School of Management and hosted by HIT MBA Students Association, HIT MBA badminton matches formally started with the theme of “Celebrating Your Anniversary, Showing Your Charm”. The matches were held on Site No.1 to No.4 in Badminton Training Center of Zhengxin Building B1, HIT No.1 Campus. A total of more than 30 players from 09 MBA Class One, Class Two, Class Three, Spring Semester Class and previous MBA students participated in the badminton matches. The matches were scheduled as follows: men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles. With the audience’s applause and cheers from time to time, the matches got much more exciting and the wonderful performance of the HIT players demonstrated their unique styles and high levels. After a fierce competition, ZHANG Jingbing and JIANG Wei from 09 Class Two respectively won the men’s singles championship and the second. ZHANG Jingbing and XU Jinghong from 09 Class Two won the men’s doubles championship, with JIANG Wei and GUO Zhilong following as the second. The women’s singles champion finally went to WU Lei from 09 Class Three and YANG Qi from 09 Class Three finished second. Director of MBA Center QIAN Guoming attended and presented awards to the players.
The badminton matches built a platform for the HIT MBA students, on which not only the communication and exchange between them were greatly strengthened, but also the features of HIT MBA got widely demonstrated and spread.
