At the meeting, Prof. LI Dong from Computer Science Department made a report titled “Into the Age of Internet of Things: An Idea for the Future Pioneers”. He introduced the concept, the features, and the applications of the Internet of Things. The concept of "Internet of Things" was founded on the conceptual basis of the Internet. It refers to the concept of realizing smart identifying, positioning, tracking, monitoring, and managing through the exchange and communication of information, by connecting anything to the internet with equipments such as Radio frequency identification (RFID), infrared sensors, global positioning systems, laser scanners and other sensing devices, under the protocols agreed. The concept has already been used or to be used in areas such as military, traffic, security, healthcare, entertainment, personal information, logistics, environment and such. After that, Prof. LI Dong described the specific applications of Network of Things in the transportation, family, aviation, plant, and students were particularly interested in the electronic chip ID cards and they had a heated discussion.
The second session of the report meeting focused on the report from Miss YU Zehui, Manager of Institutional Clients Office of Heilongjiang Branch, Guotai Junan Securities. Following the line of time, she made introduction to the history of Chinese securities market, and cast prospect into the future of the market.
In January 1980, the Fushun City Branch of the People's Bank of China issued 280 million shares to the enterprises on behalf of Brick Factory of Fushun City to. In October 1992, the Securities and Exchange Commission of the State Council and China Securities Regulatory Commission was established, marking that

's capital market is gradually incorporated into the unified national regulatory framework. With experimentation in the pilot regions gradually spreading to the country, the national market began to develop. The founding of the China Securities Regulatory Commission promoted the construction of a series of rules and regulations of the securities and futures markets, and capital market regulation system had also taken shape, which loaded the development of capital markets on a standardized track, and laid the foundation for the further improvement of the related systems. In December 2001, with
China
's accession to the WTO,
China
's economy moved toward full liberalization, financial reform deepening and capital market growing in depth and breadth. Subsequently, Miss YU pointed out that with the launch of stock index futures and margin trading,
China
's securities market’s connection with the international standards has been increasingly accelerated. Policy regulation will fade out, and the Chinese stock market will enter the era of institutional innovation. Guard against risk is bound to safeguard the future development of
China
's securities market.
